I’m a product designer, researcher, and strategist based in Brooklyn, NY, with over 15 years of experience developing products from a human-centered perspective.
My sweet spot is messy contexts. I like navigating ambiguity, building clarity, and helping teams ship meaningful work. Whether it’s designing tools for thousands of sellers or standing up new product lines, I lead with systems thinking and care about craft and teams.
After college, I started out as a software engineer but quickly realized my passion lay at the intersection of people and technology. That led me to pursue a graduate degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Indiana University Bloomington, building on my background in Economics and Computer Science.
Understand the journey
Design doesn’t live on a single screen. I strive to understand what users are trying to do, where they’re coming from, what tools they’re using, and what else is pulling their attention. Context is key.
Sweat the details
Whether it’s the copy on a tooltip, the timing of an animation, or the ins and outs of how the data is getting pulled, details matter. Experiences become memorable and emotional through design details.
Define the problem
Aligning on the problem we’re trying to solve is usually 80% of the work. I bring clarity to the problem space, which sharpens decision-making and helps teams move with confidence.
Design is a team sport
Design is better when it’s inclusive. I work in the open and co-create with PMs, engineers, and the organization. Sketches and prototypes become shared thinking tools, not just deliverables. The best ideas come from collaboration, not silos.
Outside of design, my creative well is fulfilled by an ongoing journey in photography as well as a newer pursuit, standup comedy. I’ve performed at clubs across New York City and in two international cities.
Design, collaboration or mentorship, I’d love to chat. IRL or virtual.
